GCUN Project Coordinator Engages Ghanaian Partners During Visit to Ghana: During the week of March 5th to March 11th, 2024, Professor Frank Berninger, the project coordinator of GCUN, engaged in a series of fruitful meetings with esteemed Ghanaian partners including KNUST, UCC, and CIKOD in Ghana. One of the key outcomes of these discussions was the formation of a startup business selection committee. This committee will be tasked with selecting projects aligned with climate-smart agriculture and initiatives that contribute to the adaptation and mitigation of climate change within the Natural Resource Sector.

Additionally, the meetings involved detailed deliberations on enhancing the internship program. The aim is to provide students with the necessary professional skills while ensuring clearly defined objectives and improved supervision. As a result, there is now a pressing need for a register of companies willing to participate in this program and to offer internship positions to our students.
